The Press Conference was held due to the frustration with the lack of response from the Postal Service Management in the CT District regarding declining service and job cuts. Attending outside the Waterbury CT Post Office on Grand Street were (in speaking order) US Congressman Chris Murphy, State Senator Joan Hartley, State Representative Jeffrey Berger, Waterbury Mayor Michael Jarjura and American Postal Workers Union Local 2921 Vice President Butch Magnuson. Also in attendance was State Representative David Aldarondo and numerous postal workers and business owners.
